Joint Recommendations Made by EFC, National Electrical Manufactures Association (NEMA) and Cámara Nacional de Manufacturas Eléctricas (CANAME) of Mexico Regarding Future of NAFTA

On November 13th, the Electroindustry made joint recommendations to the governments of Mexico, Canada, and the United States to retain, modernize, and improve the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA). The recommendations called upon the three governments to update NAFTA in ways that:

1.) Increase not hinder market access
2.) Reduce business costs
3.) Materially improve global competitiveness of North American electroindustry companies and their workers
